Mission, Vision, and Goals of Hands for Conservation

Mission:

To actively engage in the study, research, and conservation efforts aimed at preserving natural resources, biodiversity, and combating climate change while fostering harmonious coexistence between humans and wildlife.

Vision:

To become a leading organization in global wildlife conservation, recognized for our innovative wildlife research, community-driven initiatives, and sustainable environmental practices.

Objectives:

  • Enhance ecological integrity, eco-cultural heritage conservation and eco-tourism promotion
  • Provide ecological/environmental education, skill-based trainings to community forests, women, girls and students
  • Support livelihood schemes to marginalized, pro-poor communities, women and girls

Goals

  • Conduct comprehensive study, research, and conservation activities focusing on natural resources, biodiversity conservation, climate change adaptation, and forest and wildlife preservation.
  • Forward collaboration and coordination with national and international organizations to advance wildlife research and study endeavors.
  • uplift the economic status of marginalized community peoples residing in the fringe area of Protected Areas.
  • Combat illegal activities and establish harmonious human-wildlife coexistence.
  • Establish sustainable physical development and a healthy natural environment.
  • Improve livelihoods, generating alternative income, enhancing education and healthcare access, providing clean drinking water, and safeguarding the rights and well-being of children, as well as poor and vulnerable communities.
